Registration

How do I register as a candidate?

 

To register as a candidate on Profexia, you must go to the www.profexia.be platform. Then, click on « register » and choose « candidate« .

 

Fill in the information requested for your registration and click on « create my account« . An email will be sent directly to you to confirm your registration and you will be able to access your account and complete your profile.

Who can register on Profexia?

 

All persons who carry out a professional activity as a freelancer or under  an employment contract (employees, students or trainees) in the professional sectors listed below can register and create a profile on the Profexia platform.

Can I register on Profexia if I am a minor?

 

You must be of legal age to access and create an account on the platform.

In which professional sectors can I register on Profexia?

 

We offer a large number of professional sectors on our platform, the following is a list:

 

+ IT

+ Marketing and Communication

+ Project Manager and Coaching

+ Web and Graphic Design

+ Image and Sound

+ Video games

+ Business and Consulting

+ Engineers

+ Events

+ Finance

+ Construction and Real Estate

+ Right

+ Human resources

+ Administration

+ Insurance

+ Direction and Management

Is my profile published immediately after I register?

 

After the validation of your registration, you can access your profile that you must complete.

 

Once your profile is completed with 100% of  the mandatory data requested, you can from your account proceed to the publication of your profile by clicking on « publish my profile » in the menu to the left of your account.

Do I need to have experience to join the Profexia community?

 

It is not necessary to have experience to create a profile on Profexia because the platform offers all levels of experience for each professional expertise. Just add and specify your experience level  in your profile.

What are the advantages of using Profexia?

 

When you create your free account and publish your profile, you benefit from many advantages of Profexia:

 

+ Your profile is directly visible to companies

+ An email is sent directly to companies that have published missions that match your profile

+ Companies can offer you missions

+ You can search for assignments and apply for the ones that match your profile

+ You deal directly with companies

How do I deactivate my account?

 

If you wish to deactivate your Profexia account, you must go to your account in the « my settings » menu  and check the box « I wish to delete my account ».

 

If you wish to reactivate your account one day, you must send an email to the address info@profexia.be to make the request.

Profile

How do I complete my profile?

 

Once you have created and validated your registration to the Profexia platform, you have access to your account from which you can complete your profile.

 

In the « My Profile » menu of your account, you can complete your presentation, your functions, your skills, your studies and training, your professional experiences, your languages, your soft skills as well as your assets.

What information is required to publish my profile?

 

The publication of your profile is done directly via your account but to be able to do so, certain information is mandatory.

 

The mandatory information to be completed in the « My Account » menu is as follows:

 

+ Profile picture

+ Forename

+ Name

+ Date of birth

+ Mother tongue

+ Title of your function (main function visible on your profile)

+ Availability

+ Level of experience

+ Number of years of experience

+ Type of contract

+ Working time

+ Phone number

+ Email address

 

The mandatory information to be completed in the « My Profile » menu is as follows:

 

+ Presentation

+ Duties

+ Skills

+ Languages

+ Soft skills

 

The mandatory information to be completed in the « My preferences » menu is as follows:

 

+ Workplace

+ Duration of the mission

 

When you want to publish your profile, we do an automatic « check » of your data and give you the missing information  so that we can publish it.

What are soft skills?

 

Soft skills are human skills and behavioral skills.  These skills are personal and acquired outside the school or university sphere.

 

Soft skills are attracting more and more interest from companies. For 85% of employers, soft skills are important in workplace relations; 45% of employers use them in their recruitment process and 77% think soft skills are more important than hard  skills.

 

The  most sought-after and requested soft skills in 2021 are adaptability, assertiveness, autonomy, empathy, conflict management, emotional intelligence, resilience and a sense of the collective.

 

We strongly advise you to fill in as many soft skills as possible that correspond to you in your profile in order to increase your chances of finding missions.

Can I assess my duties and skills?

 

It is of course quite possible to evaluate your different functions and skills.  For your interest, it is even essential to evaluate yourself in order to increase your chances of finding the mission that suits you perfectly and to meet the demand of companies.

 

When encoding your functions and skills, you need to evaluate yourself and choose what suits you best between:

 

+ Beginner (no experience)

+ Junior (1 to 2 years of experience)

+ Confirmed (3 to 4 years of experience)

+ Senior (5 to 10 years of experience)

+ Expert (more than 10 years of experience)

 

The level of expertise is always difficult to gauge and the years of experience mentioned above by evaluation are given as an indication to help you evaluate yourself.  You need to be able to trust yourself in your experience and evaluate yourself positively and objectively.

Who can view my profile?

 

Only companies that have subscribed to Profexia can view your profile. Other candidates cannot access your profile.

 

We offer companies three different packages for subscriptions.  Only Corpo and Duo subscriptions allow companies to access your profile and offer you  direct missions.

Are my phone number and email address entered in my profile?

 

We do not enter your phone number and email address in your profile because we believe that these are very confidential data.

 

A company can have access to your confidential data in two cases:

 

+ When it offers you a mission and you accept this proposal

+ When you apply for a mission

Am I obliged to communicate my daily rate or my salary?

 

There is no obligation to communicate your daily rate or salary. However, companies are likely to do a search with a rate or salary in their criteria and if nothing is mentioned, you will not be visible in the proposed results.

 

We advise you to enter your daily rate or salary to increase your chances of finding a mission.  Not to mention that this is a topic that you can always negotiate directly with companies.

 

You also have the option to mention your daily rate or salary and decide not to make the information visible. Just check the box « do not make my rate/salary visible on my profile« .

How are the profiles classified in the directory?

 

There are no rules for ranking profiles because our system works completely randomly.  Companies can perform the same searches with the same criteria, profiles will come out randomly.

 

It is important for Profexia to operate in this way and we are the only platform to use this system. Our goal is to be able to give the chance and the opportunity to all our profiles to be seen and contacted by companies.

Can I highlight my achievements?

 

Thanks to the « My portfolio » menu in your account, it is quite possible for you to highlight your achievements.  You can insert photos/images of your achievements to show your expertise and talent to companies.

 

A tool that allows you to put yourself forward and gain visibility.

Missions

Does Profexia take a commission on my missions?

 

Profexia does not take any commission on the remuneration of its candidates.  We operate with subscriptions paid by companies to publish missions and recruit the best profiles.

How do I find a mission?

 

With Profexia, depending on the subscription selected by companies, you can search for missions and companies can offer   you missions.  You therefore have several possibilities to find a mission on Profexia:

 

+ You can use our integrated search engine that allows you to apply many filters to best refine your search and apply directly to the proposed missions

+ Once your profile is published on our platform, you will receive by email the current and future missions that correspond to your profile. It’s up to you to apply or not!

+ For a company that has chosen to search and propose its missions without being able to apply directly, it receives an email with your profile if it corresponds to the mission. Free to propose the mission and free to answer it!

Can I contact a company directly?

 

Depending on the subscription chosen by the company for the publication of its missions, you can apply for the missions that correspond to your profile but you can not contact the company directly. When you apply, the company has access to your private contact details (phone number and email address) so that they can contact you.

 

If the subscription chosen by the company for the publication of its missions does not allow you to apply, the latter will be able to offer you its missions. If you accept her proposal, she will have access to your private details (phone number and email address) so that she can contact you.

How do I track my missions?

 

In the « My missions » menu of your account, you can easily track your missions and we notify you by email as soon as there is an action related to your profile.

 

If you are applying for an assignment:

 

+ The company receives an email to warn it that it has just received an application

+ You will find this mission in « Postulated missions« 

+ If the company is interested in your profile, you will receive an email to notify you and the mission will be moved to « Selected applications« 

+ If the company is not interested in your profile, you will receive an email to notify you and the mission will be moved to « Archived missions« 

 

If you receive a proposal from a company:

 

+ You receive an email to notify you that you have just received a proposal

+ You will find this proposal in « Proposed missions« 

+ If you are interested in this proposal, we will notify the company by email and the mission will be moved to « Selected missions« 

+ If you are not interested in this proposal, we will notify the company by email and the mission will be moved to « Archived missions« 

 

If you are in the pre-selection for a mission:

 

+ You are in the pre-selection when you have applied and the company has selected your application OR you have received a proposal that you have accepted

+ For the rest of the process, the company has your   private details (phone and email) to contact you directly

+ If at the end of the process you are selected for the mission, it will be moved to « Signed Contracts« 

+ If at the end of the process you are not selected for the assignment, it will be moved to « Applications not selected«
